Effect of Plant Growth Regulators on Growth, Yield and Quality of Papaya cv. Red Lady under Prayagraj Agro Climatic Conditions

The present investigation was conducted on 1-month-old seedlings from March 2022 to Jan 2023 find out the suitable treatment for growth, yield and quality of Papaya cv. Red Lady. statistical design adopted experiment randomized block (RBD) with three replications ten combinations. viz, T0 (Control), T1(NAA 100 ppm), T2 ( NAA 150 T3 (NAA 200 T4 (GA3 T5 T6 T7 (CCC 500 T8 750 T9 1000 ppm). treatments were applied by soil drenching at initiation experiment, vegetative phase, pre-flowering fruit setting stage assess effect papaya. results revealed that ppm) outstand in all aspects like maximum plant height (142.13 cm), number functional leaves per (17.14), stem diameter (54.37 mm) minimum days first flowering (95.42), no. flowers (56.09), (23.12), weight (1263.38 gm), yield/plant (29.22 kg), (129.85 t/ha­-1), length (20.49 (18.21 cm) parameters TSS (16.61 ºBrix) acidity (0.125 %), non-reducing sugar (2.16 ºBrix), reducing (7.83 total (9.99 followed lowest observation recorded (Control). Treatment GA­3, CCC improved a lesser extent as compared control. That’s why positive response has be seen particular during research trial.
